01My Story

As an Italian, buying quality moldavite was not easy at all. Many years ago, when I was looking for my first moldavite, I visited every crystal shop in Padua and scoured websites throughout Italy. The result? Limited selection, average quality, and sky-high prices.

From that frustration — combined with an unyielding passion — Moldavite.it was born. But to do it really well, I made an important choice: move to the Czech Republic, just a stone's throw from where moldavite has emerged for almost 15 million years.

Here I built relationships with local prospectors and collectors, learned to read every shade of color and every texture of the surface, and began to personally select the best pieces. Handling moldavite, day after day, became my profession — and recognizing authentic pieces, an instinct.

Today, my mission is simple: to bring real, quality moldavite at a fair price to Italy and the rest of the world, accompanied by all the information needed to buy it without fear of making a mistake. No more poor catalogs and inflated prices: just authentic stones, chosen one by one.

03Found, Not Mined

There's a principle I hold dear: we don't excavate. We look for moldavite by walking, on the surface, respecting the land and the law. Our moldavite comes only from legal sources or from surface finds during walks.

Unfortunately, some seek it differently: illegal excavations that devastate the forests and fields of Bohemia. The images below are an example — enormous damage to the environment, which we condemn unreservedly.

04A Prospector, Even in My Free Time

When I'm not in the moldavite regions, my passion for prospecting doesn't stop. I search for gold in the rivers of Bohemia — like the Otava — sifting through sand; I hunt for artifacts with a metal detector; and I often travel to Latvia in search of amber, where my walks are not in fields but on the shores of the Baltic Sea.

It's the same spirit with which I approach moldavite: patience, a trained eye, and deep respect for nature.
