It is a rare achondrite (unclassified) with a total mass of about 50 kg.\nPhysical characteristics of the Ksar Ghilane 022 meteorite\nThe physical characteristics of KG 022 include predominantly near-pure augite, accompanied by minor amounts of enstatite and other minerals such as Cr-troilite, daubreelite, alabandite, and manganese and iron oxides. The internal structure is composed of uniform aggregates of light gray and white grains.
